BEYOND THE BROKEN PIECES.

Sometimes we go through life and it feels so empty. Sometimes we wake up in the morning, and even though we know that we are breathing, we ask ourselves whether we are really living. Most times God brings us so low, and the only question that keeps resounding in our minds is, “Why me Lord, why me?” It is in those times that even the silently asked question, “Why me?” becomes a prayer. We cannot even begin to comprehend what is in store for us. There are times we feel so discouraged. Things happen in life that we cannot fathom. This is the basic nature of life. However, we must maintain the faith that better things are in store. We must piece together the broken pieces for the sun still shines. We have to realize that there is a lesson in every difficult situation we pass through in life. We have to lend a hand to those going through various things in their lives. That is why this is a story of hope, that you keep smiling through the rain, that we should keep reaching for the best and it will come to us.

When you're up against a struggle that has shattered all your dreams and hopes have been crushed by Satan's manifested schemes, and you feel the urge within you to submit to earthly cares, don't let the hope that is within you disappear. Praise the Lord. He can work through those who praise Him. Praise the Lord. Our Lord inhabits in praise. Keep knocking and the door shall be opened to you. Keep seeking your heart's desires and as long as they are according to God's will, you shall indeed find them. It may take a while, but surely, some day you will get that which you seek for. Always remember that most often we give up when we are so close to achieving that which we kept going after in the first place. All the challenges that we go through may break our bones but they can never break our spirits. We can only get stronger after we have been hurt by all the broken pieces. When you have fallen so low, the only way for you is up! There is this prayer that forever blesses me when I am down, “When my heart is overwhelmed Oh Lord, take me to the rock that is higher than I.” We have to realize that there is a higher power that will never forsake us, that we were placed below the heavens for a greater purpose. Surely God cannot bring us from so far only to leave us when we experience a bump along the road. I believe that His presence endures, that He watches over us, that His timing is the best. He will guide us. He will show us the way. He will put back the broken pieces and wipe away the tears from our eyes. We should not ask God to make our paths in life smooth, rather we should ask Him to give us the strength to overcome the temptations that come along our way.

So if you are sitting somewhere, all alone, wondering if somebody cares, wondering whether you are still living, keep the hope alive. Never give up on the fact that the sun will shine on you. All we need to do is touch the hem of Jesus' garment, and He will make us whole, make us white as snow. He listens to the cry of our hearts. He answers those silent prayers. Sometimes we might be too discouraged to pray, and all we can do is whisper the question “Why,” but He still listens to that. Beyond the broken pieces there is life. There is happiness and joy, if only we take all our cares and troubles to the Lord. Mortal beings may not recognize your pain, but the Almighty will. The broken pieces might leave scars in our hearts, but most times they are an everlasting learning curve. Always keep the hope alive. Beyond the broken pieces there is a God who cares, whose love is eternal. He will wrap you in the comfort of His arms and give you the sweetest solace that no human being can ever give.
